The Eagle Condor Alliance offers 10 Day Sacred Medicine Retreats in the mountains outside of Medellin, Colombia. Our next retreat dates are June 23rd – July 2nd.
Participants stay in comfortable glamping, camping, and shared cabin accommodations while experiencing traditional Ayahuasca (Yagé), San Pedro Cactus, Peyote and Temazcal (Inipi) ceremonies.
At Eagle Condor Alliance, our central mission is to spread consciousness, awareness and love by being the bridge between our participants and the ancient traditions and sacred medicines of the Americas. We are ultimately concerned with supporting the elders of these traditions and with conserving the forests of Colombia where these medicines, traditions, and wisdoms are found.
Healing With All of the Sacred Medicines
We offer the sacred plants of the Americas in one powerful and rejuvenating 10 day retreat. Ayahuasca, San Pedro, and Lakota Sioux inipi (sweat lodge) ceremonies each have their own unique spirit, tradition, and way of showing us to ourselves. We believe that using these plants together in guided contexts creates the most profound and curative spiritual experience.
Intensive Plant Medicine Immersion Experience
The demanding itinerary of ECA retreats requires that participants approach the medicine with respect, reverence and strength. These medicines lead us to confront both the beauty and darkness in each of us, and will power is needed to maintain consistent focus on our transformative internal process during the retreat.
Our Commitment to the Individual
Each participant comes with his or her own past experiences, health concerns, goals, ambitions, medical history, and intentions for the retreat. At ECA, we have small retreat groups. The group is cared for by 3 group facilitators and 2 experienced healers who are committed to creating bonds of trust and compassion that form the foundation for the healing processes of participants.
Experienced Healers and The Purest Medicine
ECA’s healers have been finding, harvesting, and preparing their own medicines to the benefit of their respective communities for over 40 years. They offer these gifts from Mother Earth in their purest forms. ECA’s medicines are never altered or mixed with other substances or plants. They are provided with respect and love in traditional ceremonies from the Cofán community of the Amazon, the Lakota-Sioux of North America, and the traditional Andean peoples.
The Setting – Colombia’s Natural Beauty
The retreat centre is located at an altitude of 2300m surrounded by dense Andean sub tropical rain forest, spectacular views of the valley, pristine drinking water, your own private river, hiking, wildlife, and comfortable glamping and camping options
Comfort and Rejuvenation
Comfort is a crucial element in this reviving and re-energizing experience, and it’s typically forgotten by most other retreat centers. Participants at ECA retreats: sleep in comfortable, soft beds, take hot showers, eat delicious, healthy cuisine, drink fresh mountain water, walk outside without being devoured by insects, and are given ample alone time for reflection and self-examination. The mild climate also helps us rest.
Convenience and Price
Fly direct into Medellin’s international airport for a fraction of what it costs to get to Cusco, Leticia, Iquitos or other locations, and arrive at the retreat center in under 30 minutes via our private transport. No special vaccinations or injections required. We provide all food, housing, and on the ground transport in order to make our retreat relaxing and hassle free.

February 20, 2019 at 11:48 amThis is an amazing retreat, and it has the potential to impart lots of lessons. Working with the medicines at ECA was greatly enhanced by the presence of the family and the way they’ve structured the retreat. The emphasis keeps going back to you (the individual) and how you can take these lessons back. This in my opinion is really the whole point, so needless to say i found it really useful.
Bobbie and Jesse were always available for help or advice, and I think that’s one of the great things about this retreat: support is there when needed. I’m quite grateful to them and pray they carry on the good work.
I highly recommend ECA to others who want to experience Yage (ayahuasca) and San Pedro.

November 6, 2018 at 2:01 pmLoved my 10 day stay at ECA. They have a very authentic and traditional environment for plant medicine ceremonies. I actually wrote a blog post about my stay there if you want to get more details.

October 21, 2018 at 5:28 pmMy experience at Eagle Condor Alliance was extraordinary and I consider this 10 day retreat to be one of the best investments I’ve ever made in myself. The team at Eagle Condor Alliance was very professional and extremely well-prepared. They helped me understand the plant medicine, its effects and what to expect (in some cases helping me to expect the unexpected!). I am very grateful for the all the Eagle Condor Alliance team and I would not go anywhere else in the future to experience the plant medicine. This experience was life-transforming for me and I am eternally grateful to the Eagle Condor Alliance!

October 18, 2018 at 9:07 pmFrom the moment I was picked up from the airport, I knew I was in good hands. But truthfully, my positive experience with the ECA started long before the retreat even began—and so far has extended long after.
I was referred to the ECA through the glowing review of a close friend. I had been searching for some new roads to self explorations and learning for a while, and through my friend’s description and through my email and skype chats with Bobby and Jesse, felt confident the ECA could help with some answers. Bobby and Jesse were extremely helpful and available and made feel unconditionally safe and unjudged. By the time I arrived in Colombia months later, I already felt at home.
As for the retreat itself, I remain blown away by the care and thoughtfulness that Bobby, Jesse and the whole ECA family put into creating the entire experience. As a first time yage drinker, I had no idea what to expect, but the guys walked us through every step of the way.
I say easily say without any hyperbole that my experience with the ECA has been one of the most meaningful, positive, and perspective changing experiences of my life. I’ve returned home with a new family, a full heart, and a renewed gratitude for life. I you are in search of a sacred medicine experience, I cannot recommend the ECA more highly.

October 10, 2018 at 9:31 pmIf you are drawn to this retreat, listen to yourself and attend it! Jesse and Bobby have made the healing of others their lives work and it shows. Every part of the retreat is well thought out and designed with intention. Their safe and experienced guidance allowed me to go truly focus on my journey inwards. Although anxious, I always felt safe and cared for. Mark is also incredibly funny and his lightheartedness washed away a lot of heaviness after ceremonies.
Tips:
-go with an open mind and open heart. Learning too much about the process can create unnecessary expectations. Trust that this is the place for healing and the only way to surrender to the medicine is to let go of preconceived notions.
-although sharing your experience with the other participants can create a strong sense of community, remember that everybody heals in a different way. Don’t compare your journey to someone else’s.
-remember to breathe fully and not shallowly like most of us are used to. Use your entire lung capacity. It’ll make things a lot easier.
-post-retreat: remain intentional with what you learned and maintain the momentum of this healing. Check in with yourself. I divided my life into 4 parts that I wanted to maintain focus on and it has been working well for me.
-try to plan some time for exploring Medellin before of after the retreat, it is an amazing and safe city. Would recommend taking the free Real City Walking Tour in Medellin.
