The Eagle Condor Alliance offers 10 Day Sacred Medicine Retreats in the mountains outside of Medellin, Colombia. Our next retreat dates are June 23rd – July 2nd.
Participants stay in comfortable glamping, camping, and shared cabin accommodations while experiencing traditional Ayahuasca (Yagé), San Pedro Cactus, Peyote and Temazcal (Inipi) ceremonies.
At Eagle Condor Alliance, our central mission is to spread consciousness, awareness and love by being the bridge between our participants and the ancient traditions and sacred medicines of the Americas. We are ultimately concerned with supporting the elders of these traditions and with conserving the forests of Colombia where these medicines, traditions, and wisdoms are found.
Healing With All of the Sacred Medicines
We offer the sacred plants of the Americas in one powerful and rejuvenating 10 day retreat. Ayahuasca, San Pedro, and Lakota Sioux inipi (sweat lodge) ceremonies each have their own unique spirit, tradition, and way of showing us to ourselves. We believe that using these plants together in guided contexts creates the most profound and curative spiritual experience.
Intensive Plant Medicine Immersion Experience
The demanding itinerary of ECA retreats requires that participants approach the medicine with respect, reverence and strength. These medicines lead us to confront both the beauty and darkness in each of us, and will power is needed to maintain consistent focus on our transformative internal process during the retreat.
Our Commitment to the Individual
Each participant comes with his or her own past experiences, health concerns, goals, ambitions, medical history, and intentions for the retreat. At ECA, we have small retreat groups. The group is cared for by 3 group facilitators and 2 experienced healers who are committed to creating bonds of trust and compassion that form the foundation for the healing processes of participants.
Experienced Healers and The Purest Medicine
ECA’s healers have been finding, harvesting, and preparing their own medicines to the benefit of their respective communities for over 40 years. They offer these gifts from Mother Earth in their purest forms. ECA’s medicines are never altered or mixed with other substances or plants. They are provided with respect and love in traditional ceremonies from the Cofán community of the Amazon, the Lakota-Sioux of North America, and the traditional Andean peoples.
The Setting – Colombia’s Natural Beauty
The retreat centre is located at an altitude of 2300m surrounded by dense Andean sub tropical rain forest, spectacular views of the valley, pristine drinking water, your own private river, hiking, wildlife, and comfortable glamping and camping options
Comfort and Rejuvenation
Comfort is a crucial element in this reviving and re-energizing experience, and it’s typically forgotten by most other retreat centers. Participants at ECA retreats: sleep in comfortable, soft beds, take hot showers, eat delicious, healthy cuisine, drink fresh mountain water, walk outside without being devoured by insects, and are given ample alone time for reflection and self-examination. The mild climate also helps us rest.
Convenience and Price
Fly direct into Medellin’s international airport for a fraction of what it costs to get to Cusco, Leticia, Iquitos or other locations, and arrive at the retreat center in under 30 minutes via our private transport. No special vaccinations or injections required. We provide all food, housing, and on the ground transport in order to make our retreat relaxing and hassle free.

July 20, 2019 at 4:01 pmI had wanted to do plant medicine for a few years and felt when the right place came along I would know it. Eagle Condor Alliance was recommended to me by a good friend and when I heard that they support the locals it felt like the right energy of people to connect with. From the first conversation with Bobby I understood how seriously they took the retreat. He was immediately attentive and kind in answering my questions. Continuing the arrangements, the team showed warmth and patience with any other queries I had so that I felt completely safe to go to Colombia on my own.
As many will say, the experience itself is a very personal one. For me, it’s taken a month for me to feel like I can write a review. While I won’t embellish on the ceremonies themselves, leaping faith into this world was incredible, beyond anything else I’ve done. Our group was fantastic as well. Bobby, Jesse, Hans and Jacob along with the healers, Leonidas and Gonzalo, were amazing. From the inside out. And Leidi and Maggie, what can I say? The delicious food, the unending love, the unwavering support. I genuinely feel and know that I have a family at ECA no matter where we all are in the world.
I don’t normally make recommendations to others for things so personal because I feel like this experience calls you from the inside. But I can say with my hand on my heart, that this is an extraordinary place to be. The lessons continue to reveal themselves, life is more beautiful and I shall surely return.
Ever grateful to Eagle Condor Alliance.

July 2, 2019 at 4:25 pmMy experience at ECA was 10 days of profound change and expansion that still is unfolding weeks later to this day. So much of the work with the medicine cannot be articulated, but it was exactly what was needed. The healers are some of the most awe inspiring individuals I have ever been in the presence of, and they have opened my eyes to a completely new world. The facilitators Hans, Jesse, Bobby, and Jacob are also amazing individuals with so much love and compassion. At ECA you are truly in the best hands possible. The food is amazing, the retreat grounds are amazing, everything is amazing! I feel blessed to have been a part of the ECA family and I will be back no doubt!

June 30, 2019 at 6:30 pmJust returning from my second retreat at ECA and feeling the joy emanating throughout my being.
First of all, the grounds at the retreat center are magical- think of a beautiful open semi-rainforest that overlooks the city. With tall trees, beautiful green plants everywhere, and a landscape bursting with flowers- it’s a dream just to be there. On top of that- whether you stay in one of the houses or camp, you’re in for a treat. The houses are beautiful and cozy and have lovely fireplaces to keep warm, and the camping situation is easily the most comfortable camping I’ve experienced.
Second, there’s the food- which is both extremely delicious and is cooked with an enormous amount of love.
Then, there’s the medicine and the healers. The medicine served here is no joke, it’s both strong and extremely beautiful. You are in the absolute best of hands with the two healers, Gonzalo and Leonitus, who make sure every individual is safe and cared for as they work through their individual processes with the medicines. I recommend going in with an open mind and an open heart, remembering to express gratitude for every part of the process (especially the hard parts) and remembering to breathe and relax if anything feels challenging during the ceremonies.
I would also like to give a huge shout-out to Bobby, Jesse, Hans (and Mark!) for their amazing assistance through the process. From the first phone call you feel how much they truly care about your process with the medicines. They’re there to answer questions, to make sure your stay is comfortable, and to help you through your process- before, during, and after ceremony. By the end of your stay, you feel like a part of the family.
In short, I don’t think I could recommend ECA highly enough and would encourage anyone who is interested in going on an ayahuasca or san pedro retreat to reach out to them and give them a call – you wont be disappointed.

June 28, 2019 at 12:08 amThis retreat was my first experience using any kind of medicine as well as travelling outside the country, it was an absolutely amazing journey. From the beginning the facilitators were always available to answer questions and concerns even before arriving to Colombia, as well as assisting with arriving to the retreat’s location. Even without the use of the medicines the traditions and ceremonies were beautiful to be witness to, the facilitators were genuine in their beliefs and there was never a moment where I felt the retreat was a touristy gimmick. Everything in the ceremonies had a purpose and there was so much meticulous detail in the rituals that the facilitators told us it would take years to fully explain every component, which I believe. The first night I felt like an foreign outsider being allowed to watch their sacred traditions, but by morning I felt welcome as a family member, never feeling like I was treated differently.
Jesse, Hans, Bobby, and Jacob were all authentic and very knowledgeable. They were nothing like hippy purist types that some might be expecting. They’re all down to earth and appreciate humor, they’re very easy to relate to and feel comfortable with. Each of them have a unique personality, but they work together extremely well. The way they handle the retreat and respected each individual was something I felt I could learn from for my own day to day life.
The environment was beautiful, not too far out in the middle of nowhere and not in a busy city. About a 30min drive from the airport, it felt like a relief not having to make a long journey there. When the schedule permitted we were allowed to go for walkinto to town which is fairly close and it never felt dangerous to walk out alone. I would have like to be able to go on a short hike or trail but once we began taking the medicine that wouldn’t have been the best idea. Weather was great, we were lucky to have sunshine for the majority of our stay, although if felt very cool and refreshing be aware that due to the high elevation it is very easy to get sun burnt. The nights and some of the days were chilly so make sure the bring a light jacket or long sleeved shirts.
The food is great and delicious, the best meals you’ve ever had after a long ceremony. Leidi and Margarita are very hospitable and loving by making sure everyone is taken care of. There is light fasting before the ceremonies so just be aware of that
Gonzalo and Leonidas are the real deal, at a glance they may look like regular people, but once you partake in the ceremony you realize the power that they both hold. During the day I felt the medicine become stronger just with their presence on the property. They are both authentic and genuine who absolutely believe in the power of the medicine, everyone at the retreat holds complete respect for these two and its deserved.
I chose Eagle condor alliance based off reviews I read so I wanted to try to make a fitting review of my trip. Although it was my only experience, I would absolutely come to the same retreat again, also wanting to bring family and friends along if they’re interested. I feel I’ve written too much but at the same time I feel it’s not enough to express my gratitude for everyone at the Eagle Condor Alliance, thank you all so much

June 25, 2019 at 11:21 pmI am so grateful to have heard about ECA from a friend; after a phone call with jesse, i decided to go for it, even if a little nervous. On the other side of it now, i can only say to anyone considering this-do it. You won’t be sorry. I was impressed from start to finish; i camped (others stayed in rooms in the cool buildings on the property) and the ten days were full of epiphany, healing, and discovery of who i am and what’s important in life. I recommend this highly, and wish you the best.
