The Eagle Condor Alliance offers 10 Day Sacred Medicine Retreats in the mountains outside of Medellin, Colombia. Our next retreat dates are June 23rd – July 2nd.
Participants stay in comfortable glamping, camping, and shared cabin accommodations while experiencing traditional Ayahuasca (Yagé), San Pedro Cactus, Peyote and Temazcal (Inipi) ceremonies.
At Eagle Condor Alliance, our central mission is to spread consciousness, awareness and love by being the bridge between our participants and the ancient traditions and sacred medicines of the Americas. We are ultimately concerned with supporting the elders of these traditions and with conserving the forests of Colombia where these medicines, traditions, and wisdoms are found.
Healing With All of the Sacred Medicines
We offer the sacred plants of the Americas in one powerful and rejuvenating 10 day retreat. Ayahuasca, San Pedro, and Lakota Sioux inipi (sweat lodge) ceremonies each have their own unique spirit, tradition, and way of showing us to ourselves. We believe that using these plants together in guided contexts creates the most profound and curative spiritual experience.
Intensive Plant Medicine Immersion Experience
The demanding itinerary of ECA retreats requires that participants approach the medicine with respect, reverence and strength. These medicines lead us to confront both the beauty and darkness in each of us, and will power is needed to maintain consistent focus on our transformative internal process during the retreat.
Our Commitment to the Individual
Each participant comes with his or her own past experiences, health concerns, goals, ambitions, medical history, and intentions for the retreat. At ECA, we have small retreat groups. The group is cared for by 3 group facilitators and 2 experienced healers who are committed to creating bonds of trust and compassion that form the foundation for the healing processes of participants.
Experienced Healers and The Purest Medicine
ECA’s healers have been finding, harvesting, and preparing their own medicines to the benefit of their respective communities for over 40 years. They offer these gifts from Mother Earth in their purest forms. ECA’s medicines are never altered or mixed with other substances or plants. They are provided with respect and love in traditional ceremonies from the Cofán community of the Amazon, the Lakota-Sioux of North America, and the traditional Andean peoples.
The Setting – Colombia’s Natural Beauty
The retreat centre is located at an altitude of 2300m surrounded by dense Andean sub tropical rain forest, spectacular views of the valley, pristine drinking water, your own private river, hiking, wildlife, and comfortable glamping and camping options
Comfort and Rejuvenation
Comfort is a crucial element in this reviving and re-energizing experience, and it’s typically forgotten by most other retreat centers. Participants at ECA retreats: sleep in comfortable, soft beds, take hot showers, eat delicious, healthy cuisine, drink fresh mountain water, walk outside without being devoured by insects, and are given ample alone time for reflection and self-examination. The mild climate also helps us rest.
Convenience and Price
Fly direct into Medellin’s international airport for a fraction of what it costs to get to Cusco, Leticia, Iquitos or other locations, and arrive at the retreat center in under 30 minutes via our private transport. No special vaccinations or injections required. We provide all food, housing, and on the ground transport in order to make our retreat relaxing and hassle free.

February 12, 2018 at 3:52 pmI don’t know where to begin. Let me say up front that after my first retreat with the ECA in November of 2017, it became absolutely clear that I would never bother to go to another location ever again and so I returned in January 2018 to experience the magic once again. It will not be my last time, of this I’m certain beyond a doubt. Prior to the ECA, I had spent 5 weeks in Peru at other facilities and realized what a waste of time and money that had been. There is absolutely no comparison in the quality and quantity of attention, care, devotion, friendship, teachings… I could go on and on bragging up the entire crew from morning until night and I still wouldn’t be able to fully express my heartfelt gratitude to all who are part of this beautiful alliance.
The medicine is beyond compare as is the food provided for the duration of the retreat. No one prepares meals with such a loving heart as Ellie does and it shows through and through.
Everyone in the groups I have had the pleasure to meet who had also experienced the medicine elsewhere said that they too found the ECA to surpass every one of them. That says a lot.
Take time to read all of the reviews as they really do encompass the full picture of what an incredible and beautiful place this is.
Aho!! Mitakuye Oyasin, I love you all deeply.

November 23, 2017 at 3:30 amIt is very difficult to put into words the impact that a Ayahuasca and San Pedro experience can have on ones life. I expect that it is extremely different for everyone and that no two experiences are alike. I also cant think of the appropriate words to use to describe any part of my experience with the medicines and I don’t want to try in fear of being disrespectful or diminishing how absolutely profound the medicine is. I dont think our language has the words to describe such things. So I’ll stick to what I can describe.
The medicine is extremely potent and although I have had no past experience with Ayahuasca my experience was so profound that it will stay with me a lifetime. Even now, three weeks after my experience with Eagle Condor, I continue to have extremely strong visions and messages that stem directly from the medicine.
The facilitators and healers were exemplary in regards to their approach to the retreat. I prefer to call them all teachers because thats what they all are. Exceptionally caring, remarkably knowledgeable, highly approachable, strong when required and thoroughly professional. I cannot speak highly enough of the entire crew involved with Eagle Condor.
The food was wonderful and colourful and plenty. And the grounds were beautiful and peaceful and special.
The attention to detail in all regards with absolutely everything was an unexpected touch that I so greatly appreciated. Little things like flowers and crystals next to my bed and flowers in the sweat lodge. Too many things to mention but these special little details made a remarkable experience even more special.
I strongly feel my journey with Ayahuasca has just begun. In fact I know this. For me, the desire in a spiritual sense to see more and learn more is overwhelming. And Id like to think that perhaps it would be fun to do it somewhere else but I dont think I will. I will head back and join the beautiful souls at Eagle Condor and take their incredibly strong and profound medicine in the very special environment they have created because it is very difficult to beat a perfect experience.
Thank you Eagle Condor xxxx

October 23, 2017 at 10:55 amECA was my third yage journey to South America and I can honestly say it was by far the most transformative retreat in terms of spiritual growth and connection to Oneness. Words can’t describe my experience with connecting to myself, and ultimately the divine. Beyond the powerful medicines and healers, I want to give my gratitude to the facilitators who are beyond attentive, caring and really understand these traditional healing practices. To put it in a nutshell, these guys know their shit and pushed me to the next level beyond my ego. I’m in awe of their commitment and will forever be grateful for their care and guidance during the ceremonies and throughout the retreat. To this day (its only been a month), I follow the daily regime of starting the day with a cup of water by giving thanks to life, the Great Spirit and the gift of the ECA retreat. If yage calls you, be fearless and step onto the path. Aho!
