The Eagle Condor Alliance offers 10 Day Sacred Medicine Retreats in the mountains outside of Medellin, Colombia. Our next retreat dates are June 23rd – July 2nd.
Participants stay in comfortable glamping, camping, and shared cabin accommodations while experiencing traditional Ayahuasca (Yagé), San Pedro Cactus, Peyote and Temazcal (Inipi) ceremonies.
At Eagle Condor Alliance, our central mission is to spread consciousness, awareness and love by being the bridge between our participants and the ancient traditions and sacred medicines of the Americas. We are ultimately concerned with supporting the elders of these traditions and with conserving the forests of Colombia where these medicines, traditions, and wisdoms are found.
Healing With All of the Sacred Medicines
We offer the sacred plants of the Americas in one powerful and rejuvenating 10 day retreat. Ayahuasca, San Pedro, and Lakota Sioux inipi (sweat lodge) ceremonies each have their own unique spirit, tradition, and way of showing us to ourselves. We believe that using these plants together in guided contexts creates the most profound and curative spiritual experience.
Intensive Plant Medicine Immersion Experience
The demanding itinerary of ECA retreats requires that participants approach the medicine with respect, reverence and strength. These medicines lead us to confront both the beauty and darkness in each of us, and will power is needed to maintain consistent focus on our transformative internal process during the retreat.
Our Commitment to the Individual
Each participant comes with his or her own past experiences, health concerns, goals, ambitions, medical history, and intentions for the retreat. At ECA, we have small retreat groups. The group is cared for by 3 group facilitators and 2 experienced healers who are committed to creating bonds of trust and compassion that form the foundation for the healing processes of participants.
Experienced Healers and The Purest Medicine
ECA’s healers have been finding, harvesting, and preparing their own medicines to the benefit of their respective communities for over 40 years. They offer these gifts from Mother Earth in their purest forms. ECA’s medicines are never altered or mixed with other substances or plants. They are provided with respect and love in traditional ceremonies from the Cofán community of the Amazon, the Lakota-Sioux of North America, and the traditional Andean peoples.
The Setting – Colombia’s Natural Beauty
The retreat centre is located at an altitude of 2300m surrounded by dense Andean sub tropical rain forest, spectacular views of the valley, pristine drinking water, your own private river, hiking, wildlife, and comfortable glamping and camping options
Comfort and Rejuvenation
Comfort is a crucial element in this reviving and re-energizing experience, and it’s typically forgotten by most other retreat centers. Participants at ECA retreats: sleep in comfortable, soft beds, take hot showers, eat delicious, healthy cuisine, drink fresh mountain water, walk outside without being devoured by insects, and are given ample alone time for reflection and self-examination. The mild climate also helps us rest.
Convenience and Price
Fly direct into Medellin’s international airport for a fraction of what it costs to get to Cusco, Leticia, Iquitos or other locations, and arrive at the retreat center in under 30 minutes via our private transport. No special vaccinations or injections required. We provide all food, housing, and on the ground transport in order to make our retreat relaxing and hassle free.

July 19, 2017 at 3:58 pmAyahuasca (Yagé) can save your life or it can add toxicity and outright damage your soul. The outcome you experience will be determined by two things: 1) the purity of the medecine as well as the purity of soul of those who prepare it and oversee the ceremonies 2) the preparation ( pre-during-and post- retreat) offered by the retreat facilitators. At ECA, you will receive complete integrity of service in these two determining areas. Incidentally the setting, food and care are all impeccable throughout. Highly recommended.

June 10, 2017 at 2:04 amI did the retreat in April 2017. Before I decided to come to Medellin I was thinking about doing the medicin in Iquitos/Peru. But I am so greatful to chose ECA Family.
The setting is amazing. You have the beautiful view of Medellin from the top in a really nice place in beautiful nature.
The food you eat every day is absolutly delicious. The facilitators will help you with everything you need.
I had a really hard time with the medicin and I was so happy to have all this loving people around me to help and support me.
If you are not sure with retreat you should chose, take ECA, you will not regret it.

May 28, 2017 at 3:37 amThis retreat was beautiful. Its in a beautiful location and facilitated by beautiful people. I am so grateful for the work everyone at the ECA has put in to look after everyone who comes. You dont a have single need while yiu are there everything is taken care of while they and the medecines take care of you. Being there was definitely the most profound moment of my life so far, until i attend the retreat again and then im certain that will be another profound experinece.
After being there i have made life long friends with my group but also with the facilitators. The moments ive been through and the feelings ive felt while i was there is something ill never forget and be eternally grateful for.

May 26, 2017 at 7:43 pmI was a little worried initially about going to Columbia.Thankfully the ECA facilitators spoke with me on video call and eased my worries. They helped me find a trustworthy hostel prior to the retreat and provided a trustworthy ride to/from each destination.
I was expecting to go and do some internal healing with the medicines… Little did I know that they are committed to tradition and connection with the individual and the group dynamic. I usually shy away from such group dynamics but it was like a new family to me. I found incredible connection with everyone I could easily speak with. The facilitators speak English very well.
The location is beautiful, just like the facilitators and healers. Incredibly kind, compassionate and inspiring people. I’m definitely recommending this to anyone interested and going back myself. It was a much better experience than the previous one I went to in Peru.
In terms of the medicine and ceremonies, it was powerful and extremely insightful for me. I found the medicine to be very strong. My appreciation to the facilitators for providing structure and words of wisdom before and after each ceremony.
They say the integration is the actual work and ECA is still providing support to me back home.
I’m so grateful for the experience, connections, insightful understanding of myself and strengthening my intuition.
Love you ECA, what a beautiful experience!!! :):D

May 26, 2017 at 12:46 amWhat you need to know:
The medicine – it is pure, it is strong (many in my group who had attended Ayahuasca retreats in Peru said this Yagé was stronger than any medicine they had experienced before)
The healers – experienced, skilled, true Taitas. They are the real deal.
The facilitators – sincerely compassionate, true to their mission, always there at the right time to correct your course should you get stuck in a difficult spot during your journey (especially true during ceremony!).
The food – always delicious, prepared with love.
Heart – you will be cared for here. The ECA isn’t in it for the money. It is evident to me that they answer to a higher calling.
