The Eagle Condor Alliance offers 10 Day Sacred Medicine Retreats in the mountains outside of Medellin, Colombia.  Our next retreat dates are June 23rd – July 2nd.

Participants stay in comfortable glamping, camping, and shared cabin accommodations while experiencing traditional Ayahuasca (Yagé), San Pedro Cactus, Peyote and Temazcal (Inipi) ceremonies.

At Eagle Condor Alliance, our central mission is to spread consciousness, awareness and love by being the bridge between our participants and the ancient traditions and sacred medicines of the Americas. We are ultimately concerned with supporting the elders of these traditions and with conserving the forests of Colombia where these medicines, traditions, and wisdoms are found.

Healing With All of the Sacred Medicines

We offer the sacred plants of the Americas in one powerful and rejuvenating 10 day retreat. Ayahuasca, San Pedro, and Lakota Sioux inipi (sweat lodge) ceremonies each have their own unique spirit, tradition, and way of showing us to ourselves. We believe that using these plants together in guided contexts creates the most profound and curative spiritual experience.

Intensive Plant Medicine Immersion Experience

The demanding itinerary of ECA retreats requires that participants approach the medicine with respect, reverence and strength. These medicines lead us to confront both the beauty and darkness in each of us, and will power is needed to maintain consistent focus on our transformative internal process during the retreat.

Our Commitment to the Individual

Each participant comes with his or her own past experiences, health concerns, goals, ambitions, medical history, and intentions for the retreat. At ECA, we have small retreat groups. The group is cared for by 3 group facilitators and 2 experienced healers who are committed to creating bonds of trust and compassion that form the foundation for the healing processes of participants.

Experienced Healers and The Purest Medicine

ECA’s healers have been finding, harvesting, and preparing their own medicines to the benefit of their respective communities for over 40 years. They offer these gifts from Mother Earth in their purest forms. ECA’s medicines are never altered or mixed with other substances or plants. They are provided with respect and love in traditional ceremonies from the Cofán community of the Amazon, the Lakota-Sioux of North America, and the traditional Andean peoples.

The Setting – Colombia’s Natural Beauty

The retreat centre is located at an altitude of 2300m surrounded by dense Andean sub tropical rain forest, spectacular views of the valley, pristine drinking water, your own private river, hiking, wildlife, and comfortable glamping and camping options

Comfort and Rejuvenation

Comfort is a crucial element in this reviving and re-energizing experience, and it’s typically forgotten by most other retreat centers. Participants at ECA retreats: sleep in comfortable, soft beds, take hot showers, eat delicious, healthy cuisine, drink fresh mountain water, walk outside without being devoured by insects, and are given ample alone time for reflection and self-examination. The mild climate also helps us rest.

Convenience and Price

Fly direct into Medellin’s international airport for a fraction of what it costs to get to Cusco, Leticia, Iquitos or other locations, and arrive at the retreat center in under 30 minutes via our private transport. No special vaccinations or injections required. We provide all food, housing, and on the ground transport in order to make our retreat relaxing and hassle free.

I attended retreat at ECA in April of 2017, and it was a great experience that I would recommend to anyone who feels called to work with these sacred plant medicines. The detail and love that goes into these retreats, by so many people, blew me away.

From the moment I was picked up from the airport, until I was dropped back off, I felt a part of a family, well cared for, and very safe.

The location was gorgeous, the medicine very effective, the healers are very loving and have plenty of experience, and the food was AMAZING!

The knowledge I have learned from Bobby, Jesse, and Hans blew me away, and will stay with me forever. This community truly loves what they do and it shows in every aspect of this retreat and beyond.

I really can’t fault these guys and how they run things. They really put their heart into their work and work tirelessly to give people the best possible experience. It’s tough at times and you want to have good people there to guide you when it is. Jesse, Hans and Bobby really knew what to say to get you in the right head space before going into the ceremony’s which I found really put me at ease. There is a really good vibe around the place in general with plenty of space to hang out, inside and outside, and the setting is pretty epic!

The food served by Elly, their resident chef, was really good and plenty of it. Lots of fresh fruit and delicious meals every day.

Contact with the Healers was also good and although I didn’t speak Spanish, the facilitators were happy to translate. Greyson and Gonzalo have committed their lives to working with these medicines, helping people to heal and reestablish a connection to nature and themselves. These men are 100% authentic, you can be sure of that.

My advice for people going would be: Listen to the facilitators and try to follow their advice, they have a lot of experience guiding people through this process. Trust in the process and go to every ceremony, you don’t want to miss any!:)

It was tough but profoundly beautiful and nourishing. I’ll definitely come back at some stage. Much love and thanks to the ECA family!

A secluded cozy place in the mountains of Medellin. A truly beautiful team of committed and loving people to guide, explain and prepare for the retreats. Authentic healers with decades of experience and an absolute fantastic cook. Absolutely recommendable for all of those playing with the idea, of trying Ayahuasca, or Yagé as it is called in Colombia.

A first encounter with Yagé might be very challenging, physically and mentally, to really get through this I think the guidance of the people running the place was absolutely essential, be it through long talks over a campfire, or be it through just holding you up, when you cannot stand anymore.

What struck me the most, was the reverence with which nature, medicines and water are treated. What at first appears unusual, soon develops into a sense of sacredness, that the guys at ECA don’t get tired to elaborate. The whole approach changes from the idea of a psychedelic trip to an idea of getting to know a spirit, the spirit of Yagé or Wachuma. In this sense I was pleasantly surprised to have gotten much more out of the trip than previously expected.

I came to meet the Shamans, and met the gods.

    Outstanding and wonderful!

    – Small amazing group
    – Great food
    – Great beautiful peaceful place in the mountains
    – Wonderful people that care about your wellbeing

I felt the calling to attend an Aya retreat since two years now and no spot has had connected on a personal level before. I just didn’t feel it or it didn’t feel right. The costs would either be far too high for me to attend, the flights wouldn’t match at all or it just would be too commercial and a rip off.

Not so with ECA! – Beginning of this year, The Eagle Condor Alliance (ECA) website popped right up infront of me and I directly felt that THIS IS IT! And so it was! The team responded within 24 hours to my initial request and within a couple of hours later we had a great Skype call. Weeks later the magic happened and I was in beautiful Colombia.

All I can say is, it is a wonderful palce and experience! This is safe and the shamans/healers are holding great wisdom. Over the 10 days there is enough time to speak to the healers about your experiences during the ceremonies.

The entire ECA team is non stop working to make sure you have everything you need. They pick you up from the airport and take you back there or down to the city.

Different types of accommodations are available for different budgets. I have chosen to camp on site. Actually my first camping experience since childhood and I enjoyed it. So peaceful and connected to nature – I miss it now 🙂 There is no need to worry about any mosquitos or vaccinations as the climate is moderate. The place is full of butterflies, colorful birds and fireflies. Just magic!

I am very grateful for this experience. It is priceless. Our group was kept small and the people were just wonderful. Most of us just didn’t really want to leave 🙂 Some of us are planning to return soon! A life changing experience!

P.s. Take some extra cash with you as they have beautiful indigenous hand-crafted jewelry pieces for women and men!

I thank the entire ECA team for creating this wonderful spot and hope to return soon!

My friends made the points I would have in an articulate heartfelt way that makes me appreciate them more. I came to the Eagle Condor Alliance with a deep grief from personal losses that bled much of the color and joy from my life. I left with a path towards honoring them, celebrating the time we had and a lighter spirit. I’m not over anything just another dimension was added.

Your own experience will be yours but mine couldn’t have happened without the wonderful dedicated community the Eagle Condor Alliance has nurtured and the fellow seekers who you share the experience with.

It is a well structured organized retreat filled with warmth and community that gives you a chance to heal. Did someone mention the food?
