Words will never describe the true sense of the experience I had with Avalon Family during the ayahuasca retreat in August 2023. That feeling of love, gratitude and inclusion that space and people have provided us. One one side, it was an outstanding and mind-blowing experience, and at the same time so simple, flowing and so natural. And that’s what I appreciate the most about Avalon: the ability to combine both (Earth and Air, simple grounded things with smth bigger than this). There is no duality in there. There is no bad or good. It’s a wholesome which is sensed everywhere, starting from the way the program has been designed, finishing with the details, food … etc. You can see that Avalon cares about a holistic approach of healing and as a psychologist it is what I appreciated the most. Cause in the end of the end , the medicine we take, – is only a door opener, a subconscious mind shaker. And everything what has been raised during the ceremonies – we still need to deal with and process it afterwards. And that’s what Avalon teaches you. Or better saying: Avalon creates a greater space where you can learn and experience it yourself.

So so much gratitude to the whole family. Hope very much to see you all again.

These guys know what they’re doing and that healing is not only in the medicine itself, but in a group setting that forms and is supported by brilliant integration sessions. You just need to show up and be open.

Avalon is a beautiful and highly professional organisation. They put so much thought into every aspect of the retreat – through from carefully selected authentic Shamans, to the impeccable staff, nutrition, space and ongoing integration support. I honestly think you would struggle to find a better organisation to do a retreat with in Europe. Thank you Avalon for such an incredible experience, which I would highly recommend to anyone who feels ready to consider embarking upon a retreat themselves.

Avalon run a high-quality operation and from the first minute to the last you are catered for very well. The staff, the volunteers, the owners, chefs, are all so pleasant and welcoming, and immediately put you at ease.

It was a special retreat, and the biggest compliment I can pay them is that when I return for another Ayahuasca retreat, it will 100% be with Avalon. The food is excellent, the facilities are great, and the whole schedule ran smoothly.

Special mention to Heidi the massage therapist, who is excellent and works wonders.

I cannot wait to return for another journey with this great team

A huge big thanks to the entire Avalon team for this incredible experience. You have created a safe place to make my first experience with Ayahuasca one of the most valuable experiences of my life. The high quality runs through all areas – the preparation, the authentic ceremonies with experienced shamans, the integration and therapy sessions, the amazing food and the location in the middle of the beauty of nature. The Ayahuasca ceremonies were performed with respect for tradition and breathtaking musical accompaniment. I recommend this special place to everyone, especially for the first experience of Ayahuasca. I left Avalon full of love, healing and awareness. Connected to me, to nature and enriched with new friendships. Thanks
