“Dieta” is a traditional period of seclusion, during which the dieter comes in contact with ๐ฌ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ญ๐๐ “๐๐๐๐๐ก๐๐ซ ๐๐ฅ๐๐ง๐ญ”” and its spirit. During this time ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐๐๐ข๐๐ฅ ๐๐จ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ are followed, so that the dieter consumes no salt, sugar, (also no sugary fruit and vegetables), oil, species, or processed food. The meals are bland and simple.

No distractions, including use of cell phones, reading and sexual activities are allowed. Diet is a time of ๐ข๐ง๐ญ๐ซ๐จ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง and ๐๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง. Frequent journaling, drawing, and painting is advised in order to process fully the incoming information and insights. It is also a time of intense and vivid contact and immersion in the nature.

The choice which Master Plant to diet depends mostly on intention of the person undergoing the process and their experience working with plant medicines. The purpose of doing the diet might be of ๐ฉ๐ก๐ฒ๐ฌ๐ข๐๐๐ฅ, ๐ฉ๐ฌ๐ฒ๐๐ก๐จ๐ฅ๐จ๐ ๐ข๐๐๐ฅ ๐จ๐ซ ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ข๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐ฅ nature, however plants usually work on all these levels at the same time. During the diet one can expect to have deep and meaningful dreams induced by lack of external stimulation, closeness of the nature and ingestion of the master plant.

Kambo It is obtained from a giant tree frog, Phyllomedusa bicolor. Indigenous people have used kambo for centuries to heal and cleanse the body by strengthening its natural defenses. Kambo contains unique peptide chains that ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ข๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ง๐ ๐ฌ๐ฒ๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ฆ.

They hold incredible space for transformation and lend a guiding hand along the way. Their land is poetically beautiful. It is a wonderful, safe beautiful container for this incredible work. I highly recommend it to anyone that feels called to the jungle and this work with the plants.

I was introduced to them through a dear friend and I had been wanting to come to the jungle for a proper traditional isolation diet for some time. Speaking with them beforehand they were very caring and good listeners to help me select a well aligned plant to diet. Ultimately we came to the selection of Chuchuhuasi. I was so lucky to be the first one to stay alone in the new home theyโd been building for for many months prior to my arrival. Itโs a beautiful secluded site with incredible natural beauty. All the people in their village seem kind. I saw monkeys, lizards and all kinds of birds and butterflies. They were sweet, kind and gentle hosts. Eating on the floor with them and their dog Bisquit, in their tambo beforehand, I felt like a dear friend or family member. After I started my diet, Peter would visit me once a day and bring my simple food. Heโs the perfect balance of engaging but offering you the privacy you want for your experience. Heโs a wise, gentle soul whoโs lived an amazing life. One of the best parts was getting to share life stories late into the night with them both after a ceremony. Peterโs ceremonies are heartfelt and beautifully simple. We did three. He knows who he is and he offers himself so genuinely through his sweet singing. The way he sang to me offering in the spirit of Chuchuhuasi will remain in my mind and heart forever. Iโve felt incredible afterward. Itโs not an easy experience. The solitude can be hard for some. But if you feel the call, then know that these angels will keep you safe and supported all the way. I intend to come back. But Peter would tell me not to plan the future too much and just focus on today. Good advice.
