Our mission is to provide a safe, honest and sincere space for people of all walks of life to come and heal. We believe in the combined power of plant medicine, community and emotional vulnerability. These key elements are the fertile soil for beautiful transformation to occur in our lives!

Maharani Medicine  first opened its doors in 2018– since then, we have served at over 110 retreats. We are proud to be a culturally diverse hub for seekers of all kinds. We are honored to be of service to anyone with a desire to grow, learn and heal regardless of background, age or creed.

Here are some things that set us apart from other groups:

  • Our groups are ALWAYS intimate & small. We will never serve a group larger than ten people. This fosters a sense of community between participants & staff, creating a safe, familial atmosphere.
  • We keep a supportive staff-to-participant ratio so we can all feel fully supported in this intense journey. We strive to have 3-4 facilitators on board in addition to our Medicine Woman. Our team members are humble volunteers with ample personal experience with plant medicine. Each facilitator brings their own unique abilities to retreats.
  • Our medicine is brewed “in house”, sourcing high quality materials from sustainable sources from Central America. We brew one jar at a time, prepped especially for each upcoming retreat.
  • We place a strong emphasis on Integration. Integration means applying the lessons learned during ceremony to everyday life. Integration is what separates recreational use of medicines from ceremonial & intentional use! It is very important we honor ourselves and our medicines in this way. We offer multiple integration circles during the weekend and also provide supportive resources for our participants when they go home.
  • Our Guides have been blessed with immense musical gifts that activate and amplify our Medicine. Most specifically, our participants often laud their technique at moving the energies as integral to their experience. Many Plant Medicine traditions suggest that music is the vessel which carries the ceremonial energy. The music harmonizes with the medicine and serves as a “Lighthouse” that helps each participant navigate their internal shadows & light alike. The music serves as a compass to bring us back our hearts. Whether it be the mysterious sound of the steel drum, the call of the flute or powerful icaros (medicine songs), we are confident these voices will sing you home.
  • We are officially non-profit & church. Spirituality is very important to us, but we will never be dogmatic in our beliefs. While our ceremonies are spiritually based, they are very universalist as well. Folks with secular beliefs will not have issues connecting to the ceremony experience.
  • Above all else, we strive to “keep it real”. It can feel extremely overwhelming to find the right practitioner, modality or healing space when we live in such a fast-paced world. We are happy to provide a simple, organic and humble space where you can just be yourself. We believe that everyone is a student in this space— we are all learning from one another at all times! We hope you will join us in this incredible opportunity to unravel & remember who we truly are.

Our Retreats are for you if…

  • You are looking for a retreat that is not overwhelming in size.
  • You are seeking a supportive community to connect with in the long-term– Whether it be for integration, friendship, spirituality or medicinal purposes!
  • You are unable to travel to South America or commit to a longer term retreat.
  • You are ready to commit to four weeks of Dieta- the physical and mental cleansing that prepares us for ceremony.
  • You feel a profound urge to become a better human, work on trauma, process challenging emotions, foster a deeper connection with Nature or expand your relationship with Spirit/Source/The Universe.

We are a “mobile ministry”. This means that we split our time between Upstate New York and the high desert of Arizona. We feel the call to be in service to both sides of this country. We also hope to someday soon travel to other states and offer our retreats in more locations.

In Arizona, we are hosted by community members on their properties. For our New York offerings, we have a beautiful property in the woods that we hold our retreats in. Because we host small retreats, we don’t have the need to have a large retreat center. This means that our accommodations are humble and communally shared.

For more information on our ceremonies and community visit us www.maharanimedicine.com

Please message us if you’d like more information about our retreats or upcoming schedule. We are always available to talk about this work if you have any questions. Thanks so much for reading and many blessings!

Vision Statement

Our vision is to become compassionate, pure, healthy, and unconditionally loving people. Through prayer, meditation and the foundational support of our ancestors and their medicines, we humbly walk this path.

In a world shrouded by illusion, our Medicine bursts through the shadows as a shining light. We call upon the guidance of our sacred plant teachers to shed hardened layers around our heart built by the suffering we have endured.

Through dance and song, we shatter resistance keeping us from a righteous and all pervading Spiritual Relationship with life. Our ancient Amazonian Medicine combined with communal celebration yields profound healing for our selves and the entire planet.

We strongly believe in the Great Spirit that dwells within all living beings. This Spirit is alive, deeply caring and calling us home to the Present Moment. We embrace all religions and creeds. All roads lead to the same One, loving and ever-present Being.

Our Mission is to provide a sacred container, as well as education and support for those who are called to Plant Medicine. Ceremony is a state of mind that can embraced every single moment of our lives. We seek to help others cultivate this way of being through integrating spiritual experience.

We also believe that human connection is a powerful gateway to the soul. Maharani Medicine offers a community space for all people to share and grow.

We honor ourselves by truly integrating our Plant Medicine journeys. In choosing to remember Love on the daily, we help the world heal. It is our prayer that we can support people, whether they are preparing for ceremony, sitting in ceremony or integrating afterward. We want every person we meet to thrive and find great internal success. We invite you to join us!

This weekend was the most transformative experience, in ways I am so grateful for. I’d wanted to try aya for several years, and thought I’d have to go to South America to do it – until I joined a facebook group and threw it out there – are there any ceremonies happening in NY? I know now, that I could not have been more fortunate than finding Eliana & Austin, so close. Thier warm and loving retreat center, beautiful community, and peaceful grounds made me feel instantly comfortable as I embarked on my journey. I felt safe, and cared for, the whole way through, held in the nurturing, enlightening, heart opening music and presence of the facilitators. The light at the lighthouse shines through the hearts of these healers. I’m grateful for this experience, and will carry the blessings I recieved here with me out into the world.

All praises to the most high for leading me on this journey. This weekend I stepped out on a different journey into plant medicine. I had my very 1st experience with Mama Aya. Ayahuasca was a different type of experience for someone who has never did anything even close to this type of thing.
But I must say I am beyond thankful for the beauty and wisdom that reside in this plant. I’m thankful for the trust it had in me to provide such a beautiful experience. I flew to NY and I was blessed to be led by Austin Wilmot and Eliana Maharani during such a life changing experience. Thank you for being obedient to your gift and purpose. I am so happy that spirit led me to you guys. Everything was what I needed it to be and I’m thankful for such a beautiful experience. Erin Jarman thank you for be the epitome of what femininity looks like. You are beauty in it purest form. Thank you… Big Jake the , I see you and I hear you even in your silence. Stay great and stay pure. You are amazing.. Moses.. Your name is enough. Your presence, your touch, your wisdom and your gift is divinely protected and covered. Thank you for sharing and opening my heart to receive the Creator in all of its endless greatness. Christ consciousness is a state of nothingness that blessed my being. I’ve never had the holy spirit enter until Saturday. All I could muster up and say in that moment is thank you.
I’m thankful to be thankful. Here’s to a new way. Here’s to a way that feelings right. Here’s to a clear way to walk me Home. ASE’

Maharani Medicine Circle is a sacred container that feels so safe and nurtured that it allows the full expression of your process, no matter what it looks like. It was a life changing experience for me that felt divinely orchestrated. God/Source/Spirit brought me to this community. You can trust it. What makes this retreat stand out is that the facilitators share their wisdom instead of taking a hands off approach when it comes to integration of the experience. And they are wide! They also move with the full embodiment of love. As a guest you feel like family and they will do anything and everything to make sure that you have the best, most profound, experience possible. I am eternally grateful for their service to humanities awakening.

What an amazing experience I had. I’ve researched Aya for about 5 years now. My original plan was to travel to Peru. I’m so happy I did not and was able to find Austin & Eliana. I heard a story of someone who went to Peru, and their experience was not as good. There was a communication barrier between her and the shaman. She also said she was rushed off afterward and wished she had a little more time to gain her composure. After the very welcoming atmosphere Austin and Eliana offered, it’d be hard for most retreats to top it. From the selective playlist to the personalized music they played themselves, it was an amazing journey they were able to spiritually guide with love and care. I’m just really happy and feel blessed to have been handled with such care during my journey.

My experience itself……. I’ve been able to handle the pain and trauma. I’ve been dealing with that all my life. With their help to guide me through the ceremonial process, I am now able to feel positive feelings and am learning how to handle joy. It seriously feels like I’ve hit a human reset button to my life. Aya gave me the tools in life I was missing.

Such beautiful people. Dedicated themselves…..their lives, towards helping ppl. Everyone in my group had some sort of epiphany. Everybody came there with problems and issues. It was almost like a light switch where afterward, everybody was able to gain some sort of self fulfillment. I just think about all the people they have helped throughout their time, and it truly inspires me to be a better person. Smiles are contagious, but so is hate, anger, depression…..really all the various types of emotions. Everybody that attended originally came there with negative internal issues they were dealing with. After all was said and done, everybody had achieved a new, bright, positive view on life. I know with me, I came home spreading that positivity nonstop to my friends and loved ones. I can only imagine it being the same for everyone else. Thousands of people have visited originally with negativity pumping through their hearts to leave with so much love and positivity. Literally, Austin and Eliana are changing the world for the better with the ripple effects of their contagious love and positivity.

Im so blessed to have been able to have met Austin and Eliana as well as experience their beautiful retreat. Awesome humans do exist!!!!

    -Thank You

Hello everybody, I would like to say that i have been to other retreats but at Maharani Medicine circles The Shaman and everyone are the most amazing people I have ever met and I’m 37 years old I lived in 4 different countries and 10 different states so that is saying something. They will truely do everything in their power to help the participants in any way that is needed, help guide and hold space. The cermonies there are absolutely MAGICAL. I went from shooting drugs for 15 years to straight A’s in SNHU 4th semester. Grandmother ayahausca made me see I was worth saving myself and I got more in a weekend there than in 10 years of very good therapy. My heart shall forever hold a space for you guys
