The Eagle Condor Alliance offers 10 Day Sacred Medicine Retreats in the mountains outside of Medellin, Colombia.  Our next retreat dates are June 23rd – July 2nd.

Participants stay in comfortable glamping, camping, and shared cabin accommodations while experiencing traditional Ayahuasca (Yagé), San Pedro Cactus, Peyote and Temazcal (Inipi) ceremonies.

At Eagle Condor Alliance, our central mission is to spread consciousness, awareness and love by being the bridge between our participants and the ancient traditions and sacred medicines of the Americas. We are ultimately concerned with supporting the elders of these traditions and with conserving the forests of Colombia where these medicines, traditions, and wisdoms are found.

Healing With All of the Sacred Medicines

We offer the sacred plants of the Americas in one powerful and rejuvenating 10 day retreat. Ayahuasca, San Pedro, and Lakota Sioux inipi (sweat lodge) ceremonies each have their own unique spirit, tradition, and way of showing us to ourselves. We believe that using these plants together in guided contexts creates the most profound and curative spiritual experience.

Intensive Plant Medicine Immersion Experience

The demanding itinerary of ECA retreats requires that participants approach the medicine with respect, reverence and strength. These medicines lead us to confront both the beauty and darkness in each of us, and will power is needed to maintain consistent focus on our transformative internal process during the retreat.

Our Commitment to the Individual

Each participant comes with his or her own past experiences, health concerns, goals, ambitions, medical history, and intentions for the retreat. At ECA, we have small retreat groups. The group is cared for by 3 group facilitators and 2 experienced healers who are committed to creating bonds of trust and compassion that form the foundation for the healing processes of participants.

Experienced Healers and The Purest Medicine

ECA’s healers have been finding, harvesting, and preparing their own medicines to the benefit of their respective communities for over 40 years. They offer these gifts from Mother Earth in their purest forms. ECA’s medicines are never altered or mixed with other substances or plants. They are provided with respect and love in traditional ceremonies from the Cofán community of the Amazon, the Lakota-Sioux of North America, and the traditional Andean peoples.

The Setting – Colombia’s Natural Beauty

The retreat centre is located at an altitude of 2300m surrounded by dense Andean sub tropical rain forest, spectacular views of the valley, pristine drinking water, your own private river, hiking, wildlife, and comfortable glamping and camping options

Comfort and Rejuvenation

Comfort is a crucial element in this reviving and re-energizing experience, and it’s typically forgotten by most other retreat centers. Participants at ECA retreats: sleep in comfortable, soft beds, take hot showers, eat delicious, healthy cuisine, drink fresh mountain water, walk outside without being devoured by insects, and are given ample alone time for reflection and self-examination. The mild climate also helps us rest.

Convenience and Price

Fly direct into Medellin’s international airport for a fraction of what it costs to get to Cusco, Leticia, Iquitos or other locations, and arrive at the retreat center in under 30 minutes via our private transport. No special vaccinations or injections required. We provide all food, housing, and on the ground transport in order to make our retreat relaxing and hassle free.

Meeting Bobby, Jesse, Hans, and the whole Makha Wakan family has definitely been a blessing in my life, and I couldn?t be more grateful with myself for living this experience.

Their purpose and what they do comes from their heart, they are true to the medicine and that?s the most important thing because I know they have real intentions.
Waking up into the forest, drinking mountain water, eating amazing food, feeling the wind and seeing mother nature as a being that is here to help us on our spiritual process is something that everyone should experience. Learning how important it is to live a simple life without attachments, without material needs, and just with our heart vibrating the most pure and beautiful energy is one of the biggest teaching that was given to me during this journey.

When I made this decision I didn?t expect to learn all these incredible things, I didn?t expect that my inner child was going grow so much and was going teach me how to smile and enjoy life in the purest way. I didn?t expect to reconnect myself to my inner mother, to my whole femininity and the power that I have as a women, as a goddess.
So don?t hesitate on making the decision to experience something that your soul will need, and don?t hesitate on choosing ECA, because they are complete, they have a beautiful energy to share with you, their houses are incredible; beautiful and comfortable, and Santa Elena Colombia is without a doubt a special place that everyone has to discover.

Medellin is a city famous for the finer things in life, a kind of over indulgence of sensory experience. But its best kept secret may just reside an hour outside of the high-rise buildings and sea of inhabitants. On a surrounding mountaintop lives a venerable sage with a mystical view of the city far down below.
Eagle Condor Alliance are the link that takes you up this mountain and makes sure that you return feeling better, healthier and more invigorated than when you went up.

I’ve traveled around South America many times and have taken medicine and spoken with many different healers and I truly feel that these guys have some of the purest medicine I have found. Their energy is very focused and their intentions are pure, love and compassion not money.

MY SUGGESTIONS FOR PICKING A CENTER.

-Choose a center who focuses on the medicine and the healing, as opposed to trying to make their centers seem better by making claims against others. Adding other things not relating to the medicine, such as fitness, only takes away from valuable and needed time for healing and introspection, remember why you decided to come.

My stay and experience with Eagle Condor Alliance was incredible . The program directors answered all my questions about the therapeutic benefits of their retreat and I was guided throughout the process which allowed me to feel comfortable and secure.

The location is perfect and stunningly beautiful, the accommodations were comfortable and easy to find.

I found numerous benefits during and after the therapeutic ceremonies and even more so for weeks to come after my stay with Eagle Condor Alliance.

If you are looking for a safe, positive, welcoming environment to cleanse your body and soul, I couldn’t recommend ECA high enough to those that are looking to improve their lives physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Thank you ECA for your help and guidance. I hope to come back to the beautiful Colombian mountains soon for another amazing experience.

Such a non-transferable experience as my 10 Day ECA Retreat is difficult to describe, but I now believe that everyone can feel these sacred medicines that connect us to the earth, the universe, the heart, and our own spirits.

Having found the family of Makha Wakan and the ECA on my path has been a great blessing. The family is dedicated to love and to the welfare of each person who comes in search of healing. My experience of living with these amazing people for days reminded me that the importance of life lies in simplicity, awareness and love.

I feel like I should mention something about the retreat accommodations: 3 gorgeous country homes on two properties that vibrate with good energy and blend with the sounds of the wind and the birds of the forest. All three have stunning views of the Andes and offer very well furnished spaces that are extremely comfortable. That comfort proved crucial to my ability to get the most out of the medicines. I loved knowing that I had a big comfy bed to rest and reflect in after a long night of study by the fire!

The meals were thoughtful, colorful and flavorful. Lots of local fruits, vegetables and herbs are mixed together to create dishes that are full of life.

I am grateful for having given myself this opportunity to learn about myself and refocus my energy on the parts of life that make it worth living.
