The Eagle Condor Alliance offers 10 Day Sacred Medicine Retreats in the mountains outside of Medellin, Colombia.  Our next retreat dates are June 23rd – July 2nd.

Participants stay in comfortable glamping, camping, and shared cabin accommodations while experiencing traditional Ayahuasca (Yagé), San Pedro Cactus, Peyote and Temazcal (Inipi) ceremonies.

At Eagle Condor Alliance, our central mission is to spread consciousness, awareness and love by being the bridge between our participants and the ancient traditions and sacred medicines of the Americas. We are ultimately concerned with supporting the elders of these traditions and with conserving the forests of Colombia where these medicines, traditions, and wisdoms are found.

Healing With All of the Sacred Medicines

We offer the sacred plants of the Americas in one powerful and rejuvenating 10 day retreat. Ayahuasca, San Pedro, and Lakota Sioux inipi (sweat lodge) ceremonies each have their own unique spirit, tradition, and way of showing us to ourselves. We believe that using these plants together in guided contexts creates the most profound and curative spiritual experience.

Intensive Plant Medicine Immersion Experience

The demanding itinerary of ECA retreats requires that participants approach the medicine with respect, reverence and strength. These medicines lead us to confront both the beauty and darkness in each of us, and will power is needed to maintain consistent focus on our transformative internal process during the retreat.

Our Commitment to the Individual

Each participant comes with his or her own past experiences, health concerns, goals, ambitions, medical history, and intentions for the retreat. At ECA, we have small retreat groups. The group is cared for by 3 group facilitators and 2 experienced healers who are committed to creating bonds of trust and compassion that form the foundation for the healing processes of participants.

Experienced Healers and The Purest Medicine

ECA’s healers have been finding, harvesting, and preparing their own medicines to the benefit of their respective communities for over 40 years. They offer these gifts from Mother Earth in their purest forms. ECA’s medicines are never altered or mixed with other substances or plants. They are provided with respect and love in traditional ceremonies from the Cofán community of the Amazon, the Lakota-Sioux of North America, and the traditional Andean peoples.

The Setting – Colombia’s Natural Beauty

The retreat centre is located at an altitude of 2300m surrounded by dense Andean sub tropical rain forest, spectacular views of the valley, pristine drinking water, your own private river, hiking, wildlife, and comfortable glamping and camping options

Comfort and Rejuvenation

Comfort is a crucial element in this reviving and re-energizing experience, and it’s typically forgotten by most other retreat centers. Participants at ECA retreats: sleep in comfortable, soft beds, take hot showers, eat delicious, healthy cuisine, drink fresh mountain water, walk outside without being devoured by insects, and are given ample alone time for reflection and self-examination. The mild climate also helps us rest.

Convenience and Price

Fly direct into Medellin’s international airport for a fraction of what it costs to get to Cusco, Leticia, Iquitos or other locations, and arrive at the retreat center in under 30 minutes via our private transport. No special vaccinations or injections required. We provide all food, housing, and on the ground transport in order to make our retreat relaxing and hassle free.

If I could give 10 stars, I would! My husband and I are still here actually, we extended our stay to be a full 15 days, and man, these guys do not disappoint! We started our healing journey in Peru, and decided to try ECA due to their wonderful climate, beautiful living spaces, and the additional of San Pedro and the Temazcal to their healing portfolio. We have also had the chance to take Yopo here, due to our extended stay. The shamans/healers are warm, caring, and impeccable with their medicines and treatments, the food is excellent (I’d be really surprised if we both haven’t lost at LEAST 10 pounds), and the facilitators are down to earth, funny, really warm spirited men. ECA is truly a family, and they CARE about your healing. They also really care about our environment and the indiginous communities these sacred plants hail from. If you are serious about changing your life, and you want to feel safe and secure in a comfortable environment, you can’t go wrong here. I have done a 12 day retreat in the Amazon Rainforest with another center, and while I would not trade that experience for the world, this is a much more comfortable place. The price also, can not be beat. And the scenery, BREATHTAKING!! One note is to bring plenty of long sleeves and a comfortable hoodie or jacket. The City of Eternal Spring can get chilly at night at 9,000 feet elevation! (Im a Southern American woman though lol.)

I?ve lived in Medellin for the past 5 years and consider myself very fortunate to have met the guys who have set up this project and to have such a place to attend ceremonies. A lot of love, care and commitment has been put in by everybody involved to ensure that these medicines receive the treatment and respect which they deserve, and so that people can take them in the correct way and fully benefit from what they offer.

The shamans involved with the project are fully committed to their role as healers and show a degree of guidance, experience and kindness which can only leave you extremely grateful for their presence and company throughout the experience.

Good luck and you?re in good hands!

I?ve had the opportunity to sit in sacred ceremonies with varying traditions and countries, and the Eagle Condor Alliance group in Medellin holds an especially dear place in my heart.

Setting: The land and retreat homes are far enough away from the city to embrace a nature connection- it?s peaceful and quiet, beautiful morning silence! However they are also close enough for it to not be a huge undertaking of a journey and be able to have city time before or after as needed.

Teachers: Of those working with the group currently, I have sat with Gonzalo Aguila. I really appreciate his manner of keeping form and guidance in the ceremony while still allowing space for individual process and exploration throughout. He?s a caring, compassionate individual with a big open heart.

Accommodation: Wow are these houses little treasures on the mountain! Great beds, totally comfortable spaces, organized, beautiful views, It feels like home!

Hosts: Wow, how on earth did a trio of blonde guys from 3 different backgrounds wind up together in Colombia creating this beautiful project? It?s worth asking to hear their stories. These guys go above and beyond to make sure you?re well cared for and feel comfortable for your stay.

What I love most about here is that I leave feeling more like family than a visitor. The ceremonies have helped me a lot in my self-understanding and how I want to relate to the world. I leave with a ton of uplifted energy and watch it spill into the rest of my life. Looking forward to the next one, guys! Thank you!!

I have partaken in over 30 Ayahuasca ceremonies. All of them with the eagle condor alliance. Frankly the energy of the shamans, support staff, and the medicine is so pure, and the integrity is so high, I have never considered going anywhere else.

My time in the mountains of Santa Elena with the Eagle Condor Alliance has changed me profoundly. I was *extremely* anxious about making the trek up the mountain, and experiencing some serious resistance that I knew really meant I needed to go. Jesse was kind enough to take some time to chat about the process, and helped me feel more confident in the decision to face my insecurities.

Once I arrived at the finca it was like remembering how to breathe again. The accommodations are cozy and inviting, set atop the mountains with an incredible view of the city of Medell
