In the embrace of Avalon, where Alejandro and his team weave dreams into reality, we found ourselves cradled in perfection. Every detail, from the venue’s serene embrace to the luxurious accommodations, whispered tranquility. The outdoors beckoned with a promise of peace, the swimming pool mirrored the sky’s azure, and hammocks swayed gently in the breeze, inviting us to surrender.

The symphony of flavors in the food, the melodies that danced in the air, and the tender touch of the massages—all were crafted with an artistry that spoke to our souls. The Ayahuasca ceremonies, like ancient magic, enveloped us in their sacred embrace, making us feel safe, cherished, and profoundly cared for.

An unspoken trust blossomed between hosts, ceremony masters, and participants, weaving a tapestry of connection that made our journey even more enchanting. We arrived seeking self-discovery, and Avalon gifted us a transformative experience, leaving us with a treasure trove of insights to ponder for a lifetime.

This week, the most rewarding of our lives, has etched itself into our hearts. We yearn to return, to once again be enveloped in Avalon’s magic, to continue our journey of discovery and growth.

I want to give a big shoutout to Chris & Maggie – my guardian angels. The folks that saved me. They are, without a shadow of a doubt, the kindest, most selfless and nurturing souls I know, and the beautiful humans single-handedly responsible for getting me through the dark night of the soul; a total annihilation of everything I thought I was and believed in. Their guidance has been a catalyst for my spiritual awakening. Through them, I’ve learnt not to care about what the optics look like and to instead invest in honesty. No more playing small. No more turning my back on myself. No more settling for what falls short because ‘who am I to ask for more?’ Clarity comes like lightning in the dark, and their teachings have crystallised into my deepest learning season yet. I owe them my gratitude, my sense of inner peace and purpose in living a life of service. They made me realise that the wound is the place where the light enters. If I keep my heart open through everything, my pain can become my greatest ally in the search for love and wisdom. Thank you for everything you have ignited in me and for the kindness and love you have shown me in the past year. I am eternally in your debt and in awe of you and your magic.

My journey at Avalon for an Ayahuasca retreat was truly transformative. Every aspect of this experience was orchestrated with meticulous care, from the selection of experienced shamans to the integration sessions, massages, and nourishing food provided.

I recently had the privilege of attending a 6-day retreat with Avalon in Barcelona. The experience was life-changing, thanks to the incredible team of shamans, facilitators, and support staff who created a safe, nurturing environment for profound personal growth and healing.

The retreat included four powerful Ayahuasca ceremonies led by Nilton Santi of the Quechua tradition from Peru and Ness Dalgà, trained by the Shipibo and Cofán traditions. Nilton’s authenticity and wisdom, combined with the incredible musical talents of the supporting ladies, created a profound and transformative experience. Ness’s kindness, love, and knowledge shone through in her ceremonies, further enhanced by her musical gifts. Ness and her team also provided superb support and care during the Bufo and Kambo ceremonies.

Lala’s integration workshops and yoga sessions were invaluable in helping participants process their experiences and maintain motivation. The team, including Maggie, Chris, Ammy, Alejandro, and Victor, provided constant support, guidance, and care throughout the retreat. Their diverse backgrounds in shamanism, plant medicines, and facilitation created a well-rounded and knowledgeable support system.

The retreat also featured exceptional complementary therapies. Susy’s Access Bars sessions, Gabriel’s outstanding massages, and Abel’s breathwork sessions were highlights for many participants, contributing to the overall healing and growth process.

The retreat’s accommodations were comfortable and conducive to relaxation and reflection. A special mention goes to Marina, the chef, who created outstanding, restaurant-quality meals that perfectly complemented the Ayahuasca journey.

Witnessing the profound healing and transformation experienced by my fellow participants was genuinely inspiring. I found the ceremonies incredibly beneficial personally, helping me overcome significant challenges and gain valuable insights.

I wholeheartedly recommend Avalon’s retreats to anyone seeking deep personal growth, healing, and self-discovery.
