Ayahuasca $340 - $1,600

Shamanic Vida

Cusco, Peru

A small retreat center focused on individual healing plant medicine process in groups of no more than 10 participants at a time. We are located in the famous Sacred Valley of the Incas in a remote Andean village. Scheduling is by request. We offer 4, 6 and 11 Day Retreats, Kambo treatments and stays, all with the option to extend for more time resting or deeper cleansing. The retreat healings plants and therapies include Ayahuasca, Yopo, San Pedro, Kambo and Temazcal (Sweat Lodge).

Our purpose is to create a ripple effect in the consciousness of humanity through work with sacred plant medicines of Peru and healing techniques we have chosen, through our own positive experiences, and believe compliment the process of plant medicines. To bring about a new earth first we must help heal the traumas of the past.

We first must begin healing the individual in a gentle process. Each process is considered on an individual basis and what the healers feel would be best suited to the work they would like to accomplish. There is space to explore deeper and daily consultations after ceremony to begin to understand the messages of the plant medicine and have a focus for the next ceremony.

The longer the retreat, the deeper the healing. All of our programs are intensive, however there is space to take your time in the healing process through extending your retreat or opting to take less or no medicine. We guide participants only to where they feel comfortable or ready for. The ceremonies are practiced in a sacred context with Icaros (medicine songs) and sacred instruments. Each ceremony has assistants to help care for each person and anything they need.

During your time at the retreat you will have everything you need for a comfortable stay with all modern necessities. We provide everything, you need only to bring yourself and a few pairs of warmer clothes. In the Andes, we can experience all four seasons in one day, but tend to have cold nights and warm days. There are Incan ruins above the center and plenty of hiking trails around, so comfortable clothes and good shoes are a must.

With the power of the heart we are bringing every person into the healing power of the sacred medicinal plants of Peru through ceremony. We have ongoing local projects offering people in the nearby town healings and ceremonies.

I can’t speak highly enough of the experience that I had at Shamanic Vida, and our shamn & host, Pacco and Chrissy. i went in a group of 3 and we were picked up in the centre of Cusco. The whole experience was mind opening, heart warming and fantastically humbling. I really enjoyed the smaller, intimate groups that i shared the experience with, as well as the personal, daily communication with the shaman after every ceremony. Could not fault the whole plant healing journey here.

Wow, what a beautiful and loving experience. Right from the get go I knew these guys were going to be family. My initial contact was Chrissy via email. She answered all of my queries very quickly and there were a few 🙂 The booking process was simple and I felt at ease. They had a driver pick me up from Pisac which is a town near by. I was met with open arms by Chrissy and her little baby Liana. We were shown to our rooms and given time to introduce ourselves and settle in. Pacco (shaman) introduced himself and gave us all a hug you could feel the love. They really know how to settle any nerves you have. I stayed for the 11 day retreat and I did not want to leave, it felt like home to me. The ceremonies/meditations were beautifully guided and they were both there to help you when needed. Pacco and Chrissy are always around if you need to chat and always give you the time of day if you need it. Consultations are given after every ayahuasca ceremony to help you process the journey. Meals are based on the ayahuasca diet and give you enough sustenance to endure what the day brings. The place is set in the sacred valley with a river close by. Accommodations are basic and you have everything you need. I have been home two weeks now and have had a few questions regarding my integration Chrissy and Pacco have both answered them without delay which has helped me immensely. If you want a retreat where you actually see and can talk to your shaman on a daily basis and you want people that sincerely care about your health and well-being then Shamanic Vida is the place to go to. I am heading back in 6months time and am taking my son that’s how much I trust them 🙂

Words can’t express how I feel during the experience, totally beyond my expectations. We did the 6 day retreat last September, a driver picked us up from meeting place in Cusco centre then travelled to the centre for about an hour. The location is nice and peaceful, we were greeted warmly by Pacco and Crissy. Place felt immediately like home, the place is surrounded by mountains and there’s a river nearby. Basic accommodation, giving you all the time for relaxation, reflections, yoga, mediation and healing. There’s books and musical instruments you can use. This is my first time and I did 3 Ahayuasca, Rapé, Waychuma, Reiki, yoga. My last day with Ahayuasca was so magical and it opened my mind, Paco’s guidance as Shaman really helped in my journey. In every plant medicine we take, there’s a follow up talk with Pacco and Crissy about the experience which i find very helpful and reassuring. They treated us like family. Shamanic Vida is very highly recommended!

Great retreat in the Sacred Valley. I did the 6 day retreat and was able to have a lot of new experiences and ceremonies. As a solo traveller I didn’t know anyone there but I felt totally safe the whole and really felt that they knew what they were doing. Pacco (the shaman) and Chrissy were amazing and I really felt like they wanted to help everyone get what they needed out of the ayahuasca. Also their baby daughter is very cute and they have a unique looking dog (friendly). I had a great experience here and would recommend it to everyone else!

My experience with Paco and Chrissy was beautiful in each stage that I shared with them, I started volunteering about two weeks before my ayahuasca experience. They received me in a spectacular and very loving way, being always attentive to the needs as I felt. They approached the treatment always with a lot of respect, attention and love. In turn, the location in the sacred valley is a beautiful place, with a very special energy and incredible landscapes.
When I had the opportunity to share with them the ceremony of Ayahuasca, an experience that was wonderful. I felt very calm since both Paco and Chrissy told me that I was going to be all right, and that was true. I recommend this place fully, mainly because they take the task they perform with a lot of love and respect. They are aware and prioritize the fact that what they do helps people so much, either to know themselves or to release some ties.
