Spiritual development is the understanding of self. As all the greatest gurus and sages have said, “Know Thyself;” just two words, but where do we start? When we come from a Western mindset and a Western educational system then we look outside ourselves for the answer. This is the wrong direction. We need to look within, and the plant medicines help us do that.
Ayahuasca and San Pedro are mind medicines. They open us to higher states of conscious awareness that would otherwise take years of dedicated meditation to achieve. Mind medicines enable us to understand the nature of consciousness well beyond the constraints of our three dimensional reality. They lift our vibration into the higher dimensions and help us appreciate life and what it is meant to simply be. Ayahuasca and San Pedro are life-changing experiences; they help us discover what we really are and help cure depression, stress and anxiety related issues.
At Munay we believe it is important to experience these wonderful sacred plant medicines in a calm and tranquil setting. From our experience, both as individual participants and providers of the medicines, we believe that quiet and solitude are key factors in maximising the benefits the sacred plants bring. We want people to develop a personal relationship with the plants, however we’re always at hand if support is needed. Ceremonies all start with a meditation centering the clients before the effects of the medicines become noticeable.

At the end of our trip, we looked for a place to have our first San Pedro experience before heading back home. We looked around and talked to a few people in the sacred valley, since it was our first time and we wanted everything to feel good. David and his people welcomed us with such a warm heart that we immediatly felt safe. It didnt take us long to decide that this was the place were we wanted to be. In the middle of nature, beautiful surroundings, and a big private area to stroll around and no-one to distract us from the experience. Ken was there for us throughout the day with whatever we needed, he is truly a lovely amazing person to have around. And not to forget, the dogs were great company too! Overall we had the best possible san pedro experience and I would go back here in a heartbeat when around. Definitly a recommendation to all!

It provides a sanctuary for self transformation, learning to know thy self, to take guidance from your heart and soul but most importantly, to understand the energies of love around us from our sacred creator. David, Tracy and Ken are not only a incredibly professional team but take an a Aura of family virtues, making a comfortable environment to discover ones personal legend and self. David in particulary teaches from a cross disciplinary approach, intergrating a variety of eastern and western thought and science, but most importantly, he teaches to look within and to find eternal love. This retreat changed my life

But if you have a real need, a real challenge of life, a real illness or problem to work on, something you cannot overcome on your own, something that has drained and devastated you, perhaps for years and decades, then please conider David. His spiritual status, his humor, his deep desire to help each individual with his full, undivided individual attention, are RARE. He put his heart, his soul, his considerabe powers into helping me, recognizing a fellow human in desperate need. I felt loved, protected, supported. The answers that came, the help that came, am still struggling to gather, understand, apply. But he removed a mount everest sized problem from my life, in the first couple of hours of the first ceremony of the first day. AND HE SUFFERED FOR ME. THE PROBLEM WAS SO BIG. AND WHEN I TRIED TO THANK HIM HE JUST LAUGHED AND SAID WE ARE IN IT TOGETHER AND IT WAS HIS PRIVILEGE TO SERVE ME. My single star is to attract readers to the fact that giving stars is wholly inediquate in this case. But if you are looking for some new experiences, new perspectives, good medicine, satisfying shows, then sure there are less exensive options around, who might serve you equally. September 25, 2016 at 12:00 amI came to Munay for a 10 day retreat to get away from the everyday noise that is London. Somewhere I have lived my whole life. I had been drawn to ‘ayahuasca’ for about a year or so prior to finding Munay Medicine and being 29 (about to turn 30) this felt like the right place at the right time to get the answers I was looking for. I feel like I got Exactly what I needed and can’t wait to see how my story unfolds from here. I’ve even gone to the extreme of joining an 8 week meditation course in London to get me in the swing of things and can’t wait to see where that takes me. A massive Thankyou to Ken, Tracie and David who take pride in making sure you have everything you need during your stay and to Shaman, Frankie and Sumo for the nice walks by the river most days.
