Mai Niti is our family run traditional Shipibo healing center based in our homeland; the Amazon region of Peru (Pucallpa). We’ve been working as Maestros for many generations, and have a profound depth of ancestral wisdom and knowledge with respect to the plants and healing.
Our aim is to awaken you to your true potential by expanding your consciousness and healing your mind, body and spirit.
Mai Niti in English means Clarity of the Earth. By living in symbiosis with mother earth, she gifts us with the clarity and insight needed to do the work that we do. It fills our hearts with joy to see the people who come here leave healed, happy and free, with a deeper connection to themselves and awareness of their true nature. At Mai Niti, we work with sacred plants in a way that opens one up to receive the knowledge and healing power the plants have to give. Among these sacred medicines we work with is ayahuasca.
At our core, compassion is what guides us and empowers us to do the work that we do. Our doors are always open to all who come in need of healing.
Leonardo has been working with the plants since the age of 12. Now, aged 85, he has over 70 years experience with plant medicine and ayahuasca.
After rigorous training from Leonardo, strict dietas, and many years in isolation, Lucilla has followed in her father’s footsteps to become a maestra.
When you step into Mai Niti healing center, you will be met with the love and compassion that are at the core of the curanderos work. You will quickly become part of the family, and the curanderos are truly here for you every step of the way in your healing journey.
Mai Niti healing center is owned and run entirely by the curanderos and their family. For this reason, they have the freedom to run the retreats in the way they feel is right, in order to bring the deepest level of healing and care to all who come.
This is also why they can offer retreats and long term stays to guests for such a low price. The curanderos feel that ones financial situation should never be a barrier to healing. For this reason it is important to them to keep the cost as low as possible for guests.
The curanderos and their family will be with you every step of the way to ensure that you have a truly trans-formative healing experience, and that you find what you are seeking. Living with them on their land is a truly eye opening experience in which you will not only have the opportunity to heal and grow, but to experience life in symbiosis with nature, the way the Shipibo do.
Ayahuasca and master plants can help to bring about a profound healing of ones body, mind and spirit as well as transformation of ones life, and awakening to ones true potential. These sacred medicines allow us to access deeper parts of our consciousness and psyche, and uncover and uproot the things that block us from living our true potential as healthy, happy and free beings.
These sacred plant medicines can be a powerful ally to you if you are seeking any of the following:

February 22, 2021 at 7:59 pmWhat to say about this magical place..
If you are looking for an authentic Ayahuasca experience..
this is it.
From the staff to the maestra and maestro.. to the vibes of the center and the knowledge and the wisdom of the master plants and medicines that they have is really something special.
Lucy is the real deal. I’ve seen and experienced many healers and intuitive souls around the world and Lucy is one of my favorite.
She sees, and feels the other side with fluidity, she will tell you what other plants you are to work with..
to get you clean, clear and balanced.
They work with many different plants, not just Ayahuasca..
every person that comes to the center receives a personal individual program.
The staff and Lucy are there to hold space for you,
to guide you and help you become the best version of yourself.
Her father, Maestro Leonardo is also full of great energy and goodness.. They compliment each other very well..
They treat the master plants with respect. They are kind and full of life.
I’m glad and thankful that my first Ayahuasca experiences were at the Mai Niti Center..
and with Lucy and Leonardo .
The center is one big family..
I stayed for one month and will definitely be back for more ceremonies in the future.
Gracias Mai Niti
Keep
Shining and growing
One love

February 19, 2021 at 3:29 pmMy time at Mai Niti was one of the most profound experiences of my life. I arrived here feeling truly broken. Suffering from a lifetime of depression and trauma, I came here open and willing to try something new, far from the traditions of western medicine, that have always failed to address the route issues I suffered from. From the moment I walked onto the property I was greeted by total love and support, which was a staple during my time there. You will be surrounded by family, women and children and glowing smiles. Which for me, put my fears at ease. Lucile and her father Leonardo are true healers. I’m still baffled by their intuition and ability to hold such a safe and sacred space. They have a deep understanding of master plants and an innate ability to know which ones are needed in your process. The center itself is in the heart of a large Shipibo community. If you are looking for an authentic experience, this is the place. I can’t speak highly enough of the staff and volunteers here. They have dedicated their time and energy assisting in making the guests experience individualized and full of support. The insights I have gained, the transformation I’ve gone though will carry with me for a lifetime. For the first time in my life, I feel at peace. The work certainly does not stop here, but at Mai Niti I was able gain the clarity needed to see how to become the best version of yourself. I will be back again! I am eternally grateful for this center. I wouldn’t put my soul in anyone else’s hands. Thank you Mai Niti❤️

February 1, 2021 at 1:06 pmI really enjoyed my time at the MaiNiti healing center. when I submitted the application to attend the center, I quickly received a response that I met the requirements to attend. The application process followed up with a phone call which helped paint a better picture of where I was going and all the necessary items I needed to bring. Chatting with someone who works at the center help answer all my questions prior to attending the place. I had a smooth transition from from my home to the MaiNiti center. One of the volunteers stayed in touch with me and made sure I had all the required documents to enter Peru and transportation from the airport to the center. Once at the center I had a clean room and a bed with clean sheets. I also had 12 very wonderful ayahuasca ceremonies and One San Pedro ceremony. I worked with Shaman and the medicine through out the month and definitely accomplished my goal for healing. The staff and volunteers were amazing and very helpful. I had intended to stay for only two week, but the place and the people were amazing so I stayed a whole month. I still wish I would have stayed longer and definitely plan to visit in the near future.

One thing to mention is that ayauasca is tough work but you will thank yourself in the end a million times over for the benefits gained. I admire and appreciate the work leonardo and lucila do they really create a good space and guide you threw your journey in ceramony. The staff is great and do a good job of helping you out and feel at home. The food is also great for an ayauasca diet esther is a very good cook.
