Our Mission
The Flower of Life Ayahuasca Healing Center is dedicated to helping people gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their life purpose through transformative experiences. Located three hours from Iquitos city in a secluded area of Pacaya Samiria National Park, the center offers a variety of retreat options, including 5-day, 8-day, and 14-day medicinal plant dieta, as well as a 28-day transformational program and a six-week Sacred Shamanism and Curanderismo Course.
Participants can engage in Ayahuasca and San Pedro ceremonies led by skilled Shipibo curanderos from the Amazon. Additional offerings include floral aromatherapy baths, steam baths with medicinal plants, daily plant remedies, and jungle tours, all designed to foster healing and personal growth.
This unforgettable journey is owned by a Peruvian woman, ensuring a safe and welcoming space for all visitors.
The Medicine
Our Ayahuasca is crafted exclusively with Ayahuasca vine and Chacruna leaf. As one of the few fully female-owned and operated Ayahuasca centers, we are proud to harness the transformative feminine energy of Mother Ayahuasca. We believe that a strong feminine presence cultivates a powerful inner masculine in everyone.
The Lodge
Flower of Life Ayahuasca Healing Center is located directly on the Marañon river and runs out in one of most pristine places in the Amazonian Peruvian jungle (Pacaya Samiria National Reserve). Many find that being close to the water when working with Ayahuasca has a profound healing effect. The Lodge was built in the style of the Inca temples and many maestras who come through believe that the land once housed an Inca temple based on the pyramid landscape and the presence of the spirits they feel. While drinking in a more rustic setting with large groups can be profound, at Flower of Life Ayahuasca Healing Center, we try to use light and beauty to help heal, so we provide spacious cottages with private showers and bathrooms for those working with the medicine, as well as electricity at night and limit our groups to a maximum of 8 people. Working with Ayahuasca might be one of the most intense processes you’ll ever go through, so we’ve worked to build a truly comfortable (and slightly luxurious) space to live in during your retreat to make the process as beautiful as possible.
The Shamans
We work in the ancient and traditional way of the Shipibo. We only work in small groups during the retreat so everyone can receive truly individualized and personal attention.
Our shamans have trained and practiced for decades, are a wealth of information and are happy to give you feedback at the end of your retreat. Along with our Shipibo maestras and maestros we also provide plant remedies if you need extra help. We work with Mapacho (tobacco) and other medicinal plants if necessary.
Activities
While you will have plenty of down time for relaxation and introspection, since we are located in such a scenic and untouched part of the Amazon, we frequently do boat rides to swim with the pink dolphins, enjoy bird watching, and take jungle walks to explore the Amazon. Don’t be shocked if you spot sloths hanging from the trees or come across armadillos and nocturnal monkeys on the way back to your cottage.
We are located within a preserved area of the Amazon called Pacaya Samiria. Unlike centers where you have to go on long walks into the grounds, which requires large amounts of deforestation, we are in the virgin Amazon and prefer to keep the area around the lodge in it’s natural state, so you will also have plenty of opportunities to take in the mystical world that is the Amazon rainforest.
We look forward to meeting you soon!!

October 30, 2024 at 1:30 pmI wholeheartedly recommend the Flower of Ayahuasca Healing Center, a true sanctuary where I found genuine peace amidst nature, supported by an exceptionally friendly staff from the moment we were picked up in Iquitos. Upon arrival, facilitators Augusto and Max offered insightful explanations about the Ayahuasca and San Pedro ceremonies. The shamans, Alfredo and Daniel, are incredibly wise and played a valuable role in my healing journey. The center itself is impeccably clean, and the care we received was filled with genuine warmth and compassion. I am profoundly grateful to everyone involved, and I pray that God blesses our family from the Amazon jungle.

October 28, 2024 at 8:20 amI’m a US citizen who is keen on deep, transformational, inner work. That is exactly what was delivered in my experience at Flower of Life Peru. I did the 8-day Ayahuasca retreat. My time at the lodge was 5-star from start to finish. From the clean dieta served to the ayahuasca process to the San Pedro ceremonies to the teachings to the care that they put into each person at the retreat. I am eternally grateful for my experience. I came out a better person.
I’m grateful for maestro Alfredo y maestra Lucy (our Shipibo shamans). For our helper, Marco, who was there for anything we needed and with so much love. For Graciela who cooked all of the food. For Maclinder who served us. Everyone was a joy to be around. My heart fills with love when I think about the people and my experience.
I loved disconnecting from my electronics and immersing myself in the amazon jungle. This place and the people hold a special place in my heart. I plan to go back.
Thank you, Nancy, for what you have created at Flower of Life Peru! You topped off the experience beautifully with the manifestation practice we held at the end with San Pedro. I love you and appreciate you

October 25, 2024 at 5:17 pmI had an amazing experience at Flower of Life. One that I will remember for the rest of my life! The lodging was very nice with mosquito netting around our beds. The rooms where spacious and very comfortable for it being deep in the Peruvian Amazon. The staff are so welcoming and nice. The food that they fed us was nutritious, tasty and fresh. It was truly a wellness retreat that rejuvenated my soul.
They took great care of us before, during and after the ceremonies. My favorite was the steam flower/plant baths. Those were so great! Not only did I have amazing transformations during the ceremony but we also went on exciting jungle adventures where we got to dive into the jungle and be one with it! We went out on the boat and fished for Piranha’s and then they cooked them up and we ate our catch which was so cool.
I loved every minute of this retreat. I bonded with everyone that was there and I made life-long friends. I can’t recommend it enough. This is the place I would go to if you want to have a true authentic luxurious Ayahuasca experience.

October 18, 2024 at 2:30 pmFrom the first moment I stepped onto the property of Flower of Life, I knew I was embarking on an adventure into the depths of healing like I’ve never experienced before. The property is absolutely gorgeous! Every detail, from the pathway to the main lodge, to the cottages, to the ceremonial malloca is so beautifully appointed and welcoming!
The staff is so in tune with each guest that you feel so cared for during your healing process. From the special dieta to the medicines served, every detail is carefully thought out and presented with great love.
From my very first day at Flower of Life, I began to heal in ways I didn’t even know I needed. Complicated autoimmune disorders brought me to the jungle, Flower of Life and the Shamans that work with Nancy. All I can say is WOW! What western medical doctors could not do – the jungle and these Shamans were able to! I have received healing in so many ways: physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually! I have so much gratitude, reverence and respect for the continued work Flower of Life, the staff, Nancy the owner and the Shamans provide to their guests.
What I love so much is the way in which the medicine is served and the constant hovering the Maestro has for his “passengers” that visit Flower of Life. I don’t know if I’ve ever been cared for so thoroughly and lovingly in all the modalities I have ventured down to find my personal healing. I just cannot say enough about the love that exudes from everyone at Flower of Life.
I recommend anyone feeling the call to Ayahuasca, Shamanism and plant medicines to attend a retreat at Flower of Life. You will be amazed at this place, the peacefulness, the ability to unplug and come back to yourself! Healing can be yours!

August 24, 2024 at 12:50 pmThe owner Nancy is truely a despicable person. She both robbed and lied to me. She added on a bunch of costs to my bill that were never agreed on. She then told me I had to leave because during the ceremonies I was burping a lot which was part of my purging process. She said I had a bad attitude in the ceremonies and I needed to control the medicine despite the fact I made it clear I need to surrender to it on order to heal and let go. Then to top it all off when she said I had to leave she flat out refused to refund me for the final two days and two ceremonies. Eventually she gave me back a measly $200 despite the value of this being closer to $600.
It’s such a shame because the rest of the staff here are such lovely people but Nancy is a really, really nasty money hungry thief.
