December 17, 2024 at 7:24 pmI recently had the privilege of attending Stephano Gutierrez’s Entheogens retreat in the serene town of Calca, Peru, and the experience exceeded all my expectations!
The retreat offered a profound opportunity to reconnect with myself and nature through guided ceremonies, expertly facilitated by Stephano. His deep understanding of each plant medicine and its cultural roots was evident in every aspect of the retreat. He created a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment, which allowed me to fully engage with the process of making my own medicine, and working with the plant spirits at different sacred sites.
What truly stood out was Stephano’s ability to combine ancient traditions with modern insights. His grounded presence and intuitive guidance helped me navigate some very rewarding inner work. I came away with a sense of clarity, balance, and profound gratitude for the experiences.

We visited and hiked Puma Marc’a on the Inca Trail in Ollantaytambo, which is rich in history and other mystical delights! I was completely blown away with what I saw and experienced! Stephano is a beautiful and knowledgeable Guide, who knows the land, mountains, terraces, structures, fortresses, and plants with it’s many secrets and mysteries. I felt a kindred spirit to him through his calm, kind, peaceful and loving and playful nature. . He is also musically inclined which took this experience to the next level and opened up my own heart space throughout the Andes and beyond! I shed so much baggage that I never knew I was carrying. It pushed me to my limits,, while simultaneously seeing beyond what can normally not be seen. If you are looking to be blown away into the ethers and back, Stephano is your Guide. Much gratitude to you, my brother and friend.

He is a gifted leader who is full of humility and a real zest for life. It was truly a life changing day visiting Huaca Huchuyqosqo that will never forget. Much gratitude and I can’t wait to come back down for another adventure. I highly recommend any hike or retreat

February 3, 2024 at 10:34 pmAl iniciar este 2024, he tenido una experiencia única e inolvidable en el retiro de 10 días con Stephano.
Pensar que fue una “casualidad” participar del retiro, conjuntamente a dos nuevos amigos que si ya tenían experiencia en retiros previos, pude disfrutar enormemente de mi primera vez con plantas medicinales.
Stephano fue no solo el “Maestro” si no también el amigo que nos guio y cuido durante el retiro y cada día fue una experiencia distinta y maravillosa, primero con los hongos, luego DMT, semillas de Willka y el cacto de San pedro (Wachuma). Todas las experiencias fueron en lugares sagrados distintos donde el peregrinaje casi no se sintió, pues estábamos inmersos apreciando la abundante naturaleza de Calca, Pisac, Urubamba y Sacsayhuamán.
Debo mencionar que la mejor experiencia (para todos los que estábamos en el grupo) fue el peregrinaje al templo sagrado de Huchuyqosqo en Calca, primero subiendo hasta 4,000 m.s.n.m. donde tuvimos la ceremonia de Wachuma para luego bajar por el Camino del Inca y llegar al templo sagrado. Esta etapa lo hice con los pies descalzos, como una forma de conectar con la madre tierra o Gaia, cosa que ocurrió, pues todos nos sentíamos energizados al completar el peregrinaje.
Como herramienta adicional, cada día estuvimos usando Bio-Well, el dispositivo que nos permite ver los cambios en la bio-energía humana y pudimos comprobar que a medida que pasaban los días, nuestros chakras se alineaban más. También usamos el accesorio Sputnik para medir los cambios energéticos en los Wakas o templos sagrados, demostrándonos que cuando meditamos o se tienen ceremonias en esos lugares generamos cambios en el medio ambiente.
Stephano nos demostró conocer muy bien acerca de las plantas medicinales tanto es así que preparamos nuestro propio Willka (semillas) y también Wachuma (Cacto San Pedro) y como buen anfitrión estuvo atento a nuestras necesidades, guiándonos conjuntamente a Chaman “Q’ero” Benito en todo el proceso.
Las plantas medicinales que compartimos no solo hicieron una limpieza corporal, si no también nos permitió conectar con nuestro ser superior interno, nos permitió ver más allá de lo que normalmente vemos (la quinta dimensión!). Estoy muy agradecido con la hospitalidad y el desprendimiento que el tuvo durante nuestra estadía.
Si estas considerando tener un retiro, recomiendo altamente contactar a Stephano que se puede comunicar en Ingles, Español y Quechua fácilmente y guiarte en el uso y consumo de las sagradas plantas medicinales. Solo puedo decir Gracias, Gracias , Gracias Stephano!
