The Eagle Condor Alliance offers 10 Day Sacred Medicine Retreats in the mountains outside of Medellin, Colombia.  Our next retreat dates are June 23rd – July 2nd.

Participants stay in comfortable glamping, camping, and shared cabin accommodations while experiencing traditional Ayahuasca (Yagé), San Pedro Cactus, Peyote and Temazcal (Inipi) ceremonies.

At Eagle Condor Alliance, our central mission is to spread consciousness, awareness and love by being the bridge between our participants and the ancient traditions and sacred medicines of the Americas. We are ultimately concerned with supporting the elders of these traditions and with conserving the forests of Colombia where these medicines, traditions, and wisdoms are found.

Healing With All of the Sacred Medicines

We offer the sacred plants of the Americas in one powerful and rejuvenating 10 day retreat. Ayahuasca, San Pedro, and Lakota Sioux inipi (sweat lodge) ceremonies each have their own unique spirit, tradition, and way of showing us to ourselves. We believe that using these plants together in guided contexts creates the most profound and curative spiritual experience.

Intensive Plant Medicine Immersion Experience

The demanding itinerary of ECA retreats requires that participants approach the medicine with respect, reverence and strength. These medicines lead us to confront both the beauty and darkness in each of us, and will power is needed to maintain consistent focus on our transformative internal process during the retreat.

Our Commitment to the Individual

Each participant comes with his or her own past experiences, health concerns, goals, ambitions, medical history, and intentions for the retreat. At ECA, we have small retreat groups. The group is cared for by 3 group facilitators and 2 experienced healers who are committed to creating bonds of trust and compassion that form the foundation for the healing processes of participants.

Experienced Healers and The Purest Medicine

ECA’s healers have been finding, harvesting, and preparing their own medicines to the benefit of their respective communities for over 40 years. They offer these gifts from Mother Earth in their purest forms. ECA’s medicines are never altered or mixed with other substances or plants. They are provided with respect and love in traditional ceremonies from the Cofán community of the Amazon, the Lakota-Sioux of North America, and the traditional Andean peoples.

The Setting – Colombia’s Natural Beauty

The retreat centre is located at an altitude of 2300m surrounded by dense Andean sub tropical rain forest, spectacular views of the valley, pristine drinking water, your own private river, hiking, wildlife, and comfortable glamping and camping options

Comfort and Rejuvenation

Comfort is a crucial element in this reviving and re-energizing experience, and it’s typically forgotten by most other retreat centers. Participants at ECA retreats: sleep in comfortable, soft beds, take hot showers, eat delicious, healthy cuisine, drink fresh mountain water, walk outside without being devoured by insects, and are given ample alone time for reflection and self-examination. The mild climate also helps us rest.

Convenience and Price

Fly direct into Medellin’s international airport for a fraction of what it costs to get to Cusco, Leticia, Iquitos or other locations, and arrive at the retreat center in under 30 minutes via our private transport. No special vaccinations or injections required. We provide all food, housing, and on the ground transport in order to make our retreat relaxing and hassle free.

I’m writing this to help people who (like I was) may be worried about going to a strange place and doing something they haven’t done before with people they don’t know…

I REALLY hope this helps you to make the leap and experience what I did with Jesse, Bobby, Hans, Greison & Gonzalo.

Few things below for me which really stood out.

    1. The website, compared to others out there it was well designed, visually pleasing and packet with interesting information. Then came the call with Hans, other sites make you fill out a form. Call was great, Hans showed a genuine interest about my situation and what had prompted me to consider joining him and the ECA family for retreat.

    2. As I don’t speak Spanish, to be picked up and dropped off at the retreat was huge, nothing to worry about, just kick back and enjoy the ride, 30min and you are there.

    3. The retreat! this place is amazing, perched 1600m above Medellin on a private road no traffic or noise (apart from birds) the fincas look like something out of a fairy tale. Grounds are luxurious, view over the city, trees, flowers everything is designed to make you relaxed and comfortable. My accommodation was a private room with my own bathroom which made the chilling out & recovery after ceremonies easy and enjoyable.

    4. The build up. The guys ease you into things, you progressively (in a step by step fashion) start to extricate yourself from the world you left behind. This happens thought many stages such as meeting the guys who will share the ceremonies with you, sharing stories about what bought you there getting to know Hans, Bobby & Jesse (all super cool dudes). Then the pre-ceremonies start all designed to get you into the best possible physical & mental space before the medicine.

    5. Ceremonies themselves. I wont go into detail about my own experience as yours will likely be different. What I will say is that they were amazing and 6 months later I still think about some of the things i experienced. With Jesse, Bobby, Hans, Greison & Gonzalo you are in the best hands possible, the guys looked after everyone in what seemed to be the perfect way. It was uncanny at times!

    6. Back to basics. I think this was one of the unexpected benefits of the retreat. Eating healthy, water, clean air, lots of sleep and my favorite Abuelo (grandfather fire). Being around the fire in and out of ceremony was something really special, I made the connection in the first san pedro ceremony and it’s still with me today. I make a little fire and pray with tobacco in my back yard around once per month and it’s super cool!

To wrap up, I had an amazing time with the ECA guys and as long as you follow the pre retreat guidance they give you with regards to diet and come with an open mind and heart ready for what the medicine will give you, you will have quite literally the time of your life.

May be I’ll see you there next time I visit 🙂

You are in good hands with these guys. I did a 10 day retreat back in March this year. I am not going to go into details about the actual Aya / San Pedro experience witch was amazing. The whole ECA team are incredible you feel the second you meet the guys that they have found their calling in life and genuinely enjoy facilitating these incredible medicines.

In regards to the price, yes there are cheaper places available around south america, but i can honestly say that its money well spend. In this case you really get what you pay for. I have done a retreat in Peru previously to this one, and the food, accommodation, medicine was way superior with ECA compared to the other place i tried. Don’t be a tight ass when it comes to something like this. I promise you its the best investment of your life!

All in all 11/10 to ECA changed my life 🙂

I’ve been to different Ayahuasca retreats, mostly in Peru.. I had such a great experience there (in the jungle), that I was a bit scared of being potentially disappointed by Colombia.. I have to say that the Eagle Condor Alliance swept my anxiety away & exceeded all my hopes, a million times ! This is the kind of place that is so sacred, and the kind of peoples & shamans that are sooooo nice, caring, professional.. exceptional, that you almost want to keep this amazing place as a secret.. you want to protect it & keep it for “yourself”.. but the medecina’s teachings are too valuable to keep them for oneself, and the guys from Eagle Condor Alliance are doing such a great job to heal people that it would be criminal not to pass the words. So there it is.. For anyone in search of themselves, curious to know more about life, the Universe and our place in this gigantic whole, for anyone willing to get better, Eagle Condor Alliance is THE place ! The program is intense, but you can count on Hans, Jesse and Bobby to help you in the process. I’m profoundly greatful and blessed that Life has put them on my path.. as well as the shamans working there.. they are all wonderful human beings.. they are my friends. Aho Mitakuye Oyasin !

To any and all considering the ECA, please know that my life is forever impacted by the care I received from this remarkable community. I participated in their 10 day retreat in March 2016, and I am already booked to return in September 2016. There exists an enveloping atmosphere of love and acceptance, plenty of time to be with yourself in comfort, and compassionate friendship from your hosts when/if you desire it. I was also deeply impressed with the Shamen and their medicines, which helped me to heal and celebrate myself. Please have a thorough look at their website as I found it was an excellent representation of the experience that awaits you. The ECA is worth every penny and moment of travel. Aho!

If you’re looking for a place that is serious about providing the best healing possible as opposed to a touristic experience then this is the place!

Me and my boyfriend just finished our 10 days at Eagle Condor and we couldn’t be happier that we chose them for our first Ayahuasca and San Pedro retreat. Everything has been absolutely perfect. I was a little anxious beforehand but as soon as we stepped foot inside the door I felt totally relaxed and safe. The facilitators Jesse, Bobby and Hans are fantastic people who really put their hart and soul into the healing of their guests. It feels like you’re staying with friends and it felt sad to say goodbye to them. The healers Gonzalo and Greison are also fantastic. You can definitely tell that you are in safe hands and that they are truly dedicated to their work. On top of that the place itself is just the most beautiful and relaxing imaginable and the food is great..

We hope that we will be able to go back there sometime in the future. Hopefully soon 🙂 Thank you again for everything!
